Five flavours, high protein, zero compromises 🏋️
Whipped feta meets hot honey — and it`s exactly as good as it sounds. 🍯
This sharing dip comes together in about 20 minutes and is the kind of thing that gets scraped clean before you`ve even sat down. Smooth, creamy whipped feta made with Cyclops Greek yoghurt, topped with honey slowly infused with chilli, smoked paprika and orange peel, then finished with spring onions, thyme and toasted walnuts.
Serve with crostini, pita chips or warm flatbread and let people help themselves.
◼ ¾ cup runny honey
◼ 1–1½ tsp chilli flakes
◼ ½ tsp smoked paprika
◼ 2–3 strips orange peel
◼ 1 sprig fresh thyme + extra leaves to serve
◼ Pinch flaky sea salt
◼ 200g feta
◼ 1 cup Cyclops Greek yoghurt
◼ 1 small garlic clove, crushed
◼ 2 tbsp lemon juice
◼ 2 tbsp olive oil
◼ 2 spring onions, finely sliced
◼ ¼ cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
◼ Crostini, pita chips or warm flatbread to serve
Warm the honey with the chilli flakes, smoked paprika, orange peel, thyme and salt over low heat for 3–4 minutes until it starts to bubble. Remove from the heat and leave to infuse for 15 minutes, then discard the peel and thyme.
Blend the feta, yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil until completely smooth. Spoon into a shallow bowl, swirl the top, drizzle over the hot honey and scatter with spring onions, thyme leaves and walnuts.
